Mark C. Long is professor of English, American and Environmental Studies at Keene State College, where he teaches courses in literature, with an emphasis in poetry and poetics; American studies, with a special interest in literature and the environment; expository writing, with a focus on the teaching of first-year writers; and environmental studies.
